Around the world, Industry 4.0 and related fields such as Internet of Things, Industrial Internet of Things, and Cyberphysical systems is forcing a rethinking of the way we prepare tomorrow’s engineers. This unique workshop will bring forward-thinking participants from universities and industries to discuss and share thoughts and experiences to begin the necessary transformation in our undergraduate programs.
The program will be a unique blend of presentations, open discussions, and technology demonstrations. The industry sponsor Quanser has been collaborating with the global engineering education community to develop effective technologies and methodologies to transition from traditional disconnected pedagogies to modern fully-integrated approaches to education.
