The College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology at Oklahoma State University (OSU) seeks applications for two (2) Assistant Professor positions in the Division of Engineering Technology. Successful candidates will have the ability and desire to teach in one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Electrohydraulics, Electropneumatics; Solid Mechanics, Machine Components, Engineering Graphics, Instrumentation; Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Experimental Methods. Successful candidates will also develop continuing programs of research, scholarly activities, and personal professional development. Individuals with training and skills that complement and augment existing faculty expertise and have interests in collaborative work are particularly attractive.
Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Candidates with extensive relevant experience and a master's degree in a related field will be considered. Preferred candidates will have an earned Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field and industrial experience. Professional registration and teaching experience is preferred. Related technical professional experience is desirable. Individuals with training and skills that complement and augment existing faculty expertise and have interests in collaborative work with other programs are particularly attractive. In addition, there are collaborative opportunities to develop and offer innovative continuing education courses as part of OSU's land grant.
