The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Mechatronics, Industrial and Mobile Robots, Automation, Product Design, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Cyber-Physical Systems, and Embedded Systems. The successful applicant will be required to teach; advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities, and serve the profession. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Applicants should consult the department’s website to review our academic and research programs (https://engineering.tamu.edu/etid).
